I am not really in any financial trouble, I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to ask a CC for a lower APR. I have several cards and really don't want to cancel them as I have heard it can have an adverse effect on my overall credit score ( which is 738). One has a low balance on it and some are not even being used. Also does anyone have any ideas on how to raise my score. The main reason for it being lowered is that last year I co-signed a new car loan for my son, obtained a used car loan for my daughter and had a few other inquiries into my credit for legitimate reasons. Any advice on how to keep my credit in good shape is appriciated. Thanks!
