According to the site I use for accurate SOL's (used BY the collection agencies,and linked below) the Ohio SOL for open accounts is 4 years. In the Ohio statutes this is under "contracts for sale without chattel paper" Oral contracts ar 6 years, which many credit sites list. There is NOTHING in the Ohio SOL's that is 7 years. Here is some info.

OHIO STATUTES-Definitions

(c) "Chattel paper" does not include (ii) records that evidence a right to payment arising out of the use of a credit or charge card or information contained on or for use with the card.
