Hi! I am new and I want to say thank you to all of you out there! It is so nice to find a forum with people that are going through the same thing I am.

I have been working with CCCS since 1998 to pay back a debt ($2500) from Citibank. Last September it was turned over to a CA Client Services. Recently CA has been harrasing me at home and at work. This witch called work three times one day, after that I asked my boss to tell her to stop calling. When I got home there were 2 messages from her, 1 saying I was 30 years old and it wasn't going to go away and I needed to pick up the phone. She basically implied I was a child. Then there was a message with her stating she called my work. I kept the tape incase I ever need it for evidence. Because everytime I tell her not to call and work she says fine, then you need to pick up the phone and call me, which I do. Anyway, she said I committed a felony, they were going to garnish my wages, blah blah blah. We ended up in a shouting match because she would not listen to what I had to say. She also said she had tapes that said I told one agent I was going to borrow the money, which was 50 for a payment not the balance. She said I told another one I refused to pay. I got so sick of her I called my parents and they suggested the c&d letter. I am going to get it out this weekend. To top it off Then the witch called work this week after my boss told her not to.

I would like to know if I can still send the letter and file a complaint with the FTC too? I would like to hit them below the belt the way I have been but do not want to make things worse. I even went to their website and got the following quotes from them:
Client Services, Inc. is a professional receivables management company and does not rely on threats or any other deceptive practices.
New collectors undergo extensive in-house training and have a thorough knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act prior to being given a collection file. All of us at Client Services, Inc. take great pride in our work and our company and welcome clients and prospective clients to visit us.

Also, I would like to know if a creditor that has given the account to a CA and the CA receives a c&d letter if I can ever deal with the creditor to receive statements again? That was the other thing about the CA they said they don't send statements, so how do I know where the money went?

Please any help would be much appreciated!
