No, we've not been late on this card for at least 2 years, probably longer, and even then, it was only a couple of times, and not constantly. They are doing it because they reviewed a credit report and I'm sure that it's all due to collection activity by CA's, and there should be no recent defaults. Paying off the balance is not that easy. We don't have the money to just pay off the balance. And we can't just ignore this because if we don't refuse the agreement, they will raise the interest rates. My plan it to get rid of all but one credit card anyway. If they want to be the first to go, then so be it.
