Also known as Palisade Collection (or maybe OSI).... and Gulf State credit - they have picked up some old AT&T long distance bills just recently (i.e. had them show up on my CR in May 02 for a 1997 debt.) ... they are semi-hostile - but so am I. We traded limited info... i.e. enough to find out from when, the account number, the amount (only $52).... then called AT&T - and asked for verification - they were fraud calls on a calling card - AT&T removed them and 0'd the account balance... also AT&T is sending me a letter to the same effect.... Also, what is the SOL for Indiana (where the debt occurred per records)... original delinquent date was 8/97, but live in Illinois.

Question: how do I get Gulf State to remove this data, and remove the collection from my CR? - need to do very quickly as I am trying to get a home loan in the next 2 weeks - I still have good credit - but this moved it down 1 notch on the score and is costing me and 1/8% in added interest due to not getting A credit.
