Let me try and decipher your post. You had an acct with an OC and it was paid in full. The OC stated the last activity on the account was 1998. And, according to your records the SOL expired. Now, you have to answer to a summons & complaint, filed by the CA that is suing you for a balance due on this account? You're not sure what money they are trying to collect, because according to your records the account was paid off?
