Then they cannot collect legally. You could go to the court and provide them proof of full payment of what you owed. Did you pull your credit report ? Report them to your attorney general, state consumer protection office, federal trade commission, etc. - you can send copies (not originals) of your documents. Always send by registered, return receipt mail.
