About 6 months ago I opend a credit card to help pay for some repairs that needed done on my vehicle. My first bill was for $856 dollars, which I paid on imediatly to zero out the ballance. They revieved the payment and the next bill was for zero the following month. Then I had another issue arrise with my card, and I used the credit card once again, this time for a value of around $300. When I recieved the bill it was for $400!!! There was my transaction at the automotive place, but there was also another charge of $100 on my bill from some place in Kettering, Ohio. When I called the representatives at the 1-800 number provided on my bill and credit card, the lady that I talked with said that it was a billing error, and that I sould not worry about it and just pay the $300. This was not the case, because I revieved another bill the following month for $100, PLUS all of the interest owed on that. I have written a formal letter since that bill, but have not revieved any conformation from the credit card company, even acknowleding it. I have recieved another bill with firther finance charges and interest on the $100's. I called the 1-800 number again and was informed that there was a billing issue and that they credited my account $100 on accident and that now they are charging me this back. I have never recieved any letters from them explaining this, not to mention that the previous lady that I talked with said that I was correct. What are my rights, and is there anything that I can do. At this point the bill is sitting at $160. I plan on paying the bill just to resolve the issues all together, so that the bill does not continue to grow. Thanks Chris
