marrage and bankruptcy

I am planning to file for bankruptcy within the next week. I also have a wonderful girlfriend and would like to marry her within the next few years. She has perfect credit, I do not. How would my bankruptcy affect us getting a house or car together? or would it have to be in her name? and finally would her credit be affected by mt bankruptcy before our marrage? thanks to anyone who can help.
