CA didn't validate...now what?

I sent a request to validate to NCO Financial Systems over a month ago now. It was sent CM/RRR, however no reply was ever received. Reading through here, I have gathered that the next step is to forward a letter with copies of the letter sent to NCO and the CM/RRR receipts as proof this debt was not validated and therefore must be removed from my credit reports. My question is, does this end here? What should the tone of my letter be? Thanks for the help anyone.
