Yours is the only sight I've found info on CBC credit reporting (IMR). Like CREDCO, resurrecting the worst info on the 3 majors CR's (TU, Experian, Equifax), merging uncorrected info. Reliving the identity theft nightmare again.
The morgage company went so far as to hold in escrow a (fraud)1996- Cross Country Bank -balance of $692. Our ID thief, called CCBank to let them know he lost his card. They sent him a new one, duplicated the balance on a new account number & Applied Cards got the old. 3 frauds on our credit report from the same place. Anyone who has tried to clear CCBank, knows they don't help you.
Anyway, CBC has no phone number to dispute errors. Cendant is holding our money for the fraud accounts, until we can prove we are innocent. It was only on TU.
Is it attorney time? The theft was 1996, I don't have a police report from GA. Corrected info from Equifax is back on even though I have statements they corrected it.
Advice to all-DON'T SHRED EVERYTHING-YOU MAY NEED TO PROVE YOUR INNOCENCE! (Sorry, don't mean to shout but you never think you'll need phone bills from 96')
