I am sorry you didn't take the precaution of checking your credit report regularly, especially BEFORE getting ready to get a mortgage.
Send a letter, rrr (NEVER DO ANYTHING BY PHONE) to TU, disputing the entry,state it is id fraud. IF they verify with the CA, you then send a validation/dispute letter to the CA at the address furnished by TU.Put a fraud alert on ALL 3 CRA's, once burned----
