Why Chat- here is the last thing I posted on my "HELP" post below...would you be willing to answer this one last question about using the SOL letter? I REALLY appreciate all the help you've given me. I opened the account in March of 97, so I'm afraid I can't use the sol thing. I KNOW that I must have had a late in 97, but I don't have anything on this account anymore. I tried to get my online credit report to see the "come off" date, and it wouldn't let me have it and wouldn't tell me why. The message said I have to make the request in writing. Why would that be? I guess I will have to write and wait, but I'm worried they will sue me in the meantime. So, in Michigan my sol isn't up until next year as I understand it...would you still use the letter anyway, or send another validation letter of some sort?
