Why are my scores going down?

There has been no inquiries on my reports recently, I haven't been late.. etc. Then why are they going down.. instead of going up or staying the same?
The only new inquiries on my reports are mine.. I signed up for trial on credit expert and equifax. I disputed 4 really bad items on my transunion. 3 got deleted, and my score lowered by 20 points. I disputed 6 items with experian; I haven't received th results back, but my score has gone down 10 points since 5/30/02. I'm really confused now. Any ideas? Is disputing bad now?
