I have heard several complaints about the illegal skimming of checking acounts through this on-line betting, all related to Pay-pal, (which is why I do not use them for anything) There are also some pending FTC and other lawsuits pending against Pay-pal under the privacy act. I might suggest, just in case, that you check your credit reports and put a fraud alert on them.
