Your Experian report should state the "come-off"date. If you made a payment on the account this does not affect the length of time it stays on your report. The 7 years starts from date of default, on medical bills it is generally the date of service,as it is assumed that is when they are due, i.e. billed to insurance. If your records indicate when the date of service is,you can dispute this with the CRA's if it is not removed by Dec. 2003.
