I suggest you stop wasting time. Dont call equifax
anymore. Send Equifax a letter stating that they
are violating the FCRA by supposedly verifying a
debt which can not be verified to the alleged
debtor. Tell them that you plan to report this
violation to the FTC if the debt is not removed
immediately from your credit file. Attach the
letter which says it should be deleted.
