Approx 1989, I cosign
a truck for a friend. Truck had
full-coverage, within 6 mo. the truck was totaled. In
Aug 2000 I recieved a letter from a collecting
agency,
stating that I owe for this truck, and that I was the
owner of the vehicle.(which I wasn't) My question is do
have they legal rights to try and get money from me for
a vehicle I didn't own?
