I involved in a business almost three years ago where I cashed all my credit cards for that purpose. But unfortunately the business went downhill. In order to cover my credit card debts I start sending balance transfer checks from one credit card company to another credit card company. Unfortunately many checks were bounced with large amounts.
At this points all the debts have been charged-off,
sold
to other collection
agencies and yet no lawsuits
have been been filed since I have no assets.
I guess statute
of limitation for filing a lawsuit
in my state getting close to expire.
If I file for bankruptcy
now, I am affraid they will
get intimidated and sue me for bouncing checks since bouncing a check is a crime as I know. please I need some assistance in handling my case from here on with an explanation on whether bouncing a balance transfer checks have the same consequences as regular bank checks. Thanks!!!!!
