Specifically a lawyer collection
agency. I have
secured a loan to pay the full amount of the debt. I disputed the amount of the debt, because I was paying the creditor through a Consumer Credit
agency for one year. The company never sent any
statements showing what was being paid, but they kept the money. Now they donot want to give me a balance, they are acting as though the account was never paid. When I figured out that being in a Consumer Credit agency was not helping. I stop and call all the creditors and told them that I would be paying them. This particular creditor was told that they would be paid in full, but the lawyer wants to garnish wages even after being paid in full. I can not afford a lawyer so I am asking for advice on how to handle this. The Creditor is MBNA and North American Capital who receive the money. Please help me if you can with infomation.
