VA and 7 year rule

I lost my house about 7 years ago and it was a VA loan.
They paid the 12k diff. between the loan and the selling
price giving me the debt. I have made payments for the
last 4 year (50$/mt)to the collection agency. Can they
still use this info on my credit report or can I fight
to get it removed?
