Thanks Christine for the quick reply. I read my agreement and it states 'the amount of $xxxx which equates to 50% of the balance, will be removed from the account upon clearance of your first check and will be permanently forgiven once you successfully complete the repayment plan'. It doesn't specify anthing about reporting it as 'paid in full' on my credit report. I hope I'm safe in assuming that this means they will not sell the balance.
