I'm planning on sending them a validation/dispute letter first and tell them to not call, only communicate with me by mail. I'm sure they'll be able to supply the documentation to validate, but at least I will have copies of it. And, I'll be sure that it is a legitiment claim that they are authorized to collect. Once they validate, then I'm going to try to work with them on starting the rehab process. Hopefully, they will be willing to be reasonable and work with me.

Hopefully, my plan to send this letter first is not a mistake. But they only state who their client is and an amount. They don't actually say what the debt is for.
