In Kansas, it says the SOL for a judgment is 5 years. If it has been four years since a judgment has been placed, and we just set up a payment arrangement with the attorney, (we are making payments to avoid garnishment), then, will they have to refile for an extension before the fifth year is up to keep the judgment in place, or since we are making payments does it expire later? Are we notified if the judgment is extended by the attorney for the creditor? Thanks, Marcy
