Keep in mind that each CRA has their own way of verifying an acct. It could be as simple as matching the acct number and social security number, or more in-depth to require more proof. Its up to the CRA. You can request from the CRA the information they received to verify the accts. Or, it could simply be that the CA/OC didn't respond within the 30 day time limit and CRAs are under obligation by law to remove that acct from your file.
