In those States (like Ohio) where the actual SOL for credit card debts is NOT in the same area of the statutes or codes as the SOL for written or oral contracts, the collection agency lawyers take advantage of the difficulty of getting the correct information,many, if not all of the "consumer" credit sites have the wrong SOL for Ohio, or leave it blank. That is why I use the site run by an organization for collection agents to get accurate and up-to-date information.
