Is it more common for creditors to let judgements expire? I thought it was very easy for them to renew them, especially that they would want to if they intend to take a house someday. That is my concern...they would enforce the judgement and make me sell the house if my husband should die, or that he would lose the house if I should die. It is all we have.

The SOL, which is 5 years, for our other credit debt is about to run out. That is the SOL I meant. I have to bear the burden of proof if I ever come to the point of having to claim an SOL defense, and I am having a difficult time getting this proof. Sorry for not being so clear, there are many avenues my mind is traveling on this evening.

Thank you for your response,
Barbara
