I do not know of ANY State that will "force" you to sell your homestead. Married, widowed or single.If you have an existing judgment against you on record it expires in 10 years.Under your circumstances, I would not be too concerned, NONE of your income or banking of that income can be legally garnished. That information shows up in the kind of reports a collection agency gets if they wish to file suit.It would be a waste of their time. However, IF you get some judgments filed, you can always do BK at that time, even if they change the laws it will not affect you.
