I had a voluntary repossesion in 92. In 99 and 00 this came off of my credit reports and I again had good credit which is still R1's. Denial of cards had me check my credit reports and this debt is now being reported to CRA's with a date of last activity as 4/00, collection reported 10/01, and assigned to National Credit Systems in 4/01. The original date of delinquency is 92. I am in Florida. Can this company report this new date 10 years afters the fact (date they purchased the account I presume)? I have proof of all these dates including an Equifax report from 95 showing 92 as the reposession. I contacted this company and verified they have 92 as the original date so they have this date on record yet are not reporting that date to the CRA. I have sent this proof to Equifax. If they find out the original date of delinquency from NCS are they bound take this off of my credit report? NNNOOOO one seems to be able to answer this question for me so anyone who can, MUCH THANKS!!!
