Also, I was trying to say that the IRS has not been going after these debts as of yet.
This topic has been on going on many message boards and I have not seen one person say(or my husband) that they have gotten the 1099-C.
Thats what I meant by not to "worry" about it. I didn't say don't care about it, don't worry is good advice and this world worries to much about every dam thing. In fact you need to read "don't sweat the small stuff".
We can't change anything by worry.
If the 1099-C comes then it comes and deal with it then.
Payment arrangements can be made with the IRS.
