I used to work for an attorneys office that sued people on a weekly basis for hospital bills. let me just inform you that IF you are sued, and you don't show up to say something about it, you will lose on default and they will try to wage deduction. And also, the bill will get bigger and bigger. My advice, if it's a credit card bill, let it go. it will probably get rode off. If it's a local company or hospital bill, make some kind of arrangments. Call the company and ask if they sue for non-payment. Don't tell then your name, just ask annonamously what thier policy is.
