When CAMCO was trying to collect from a 1991 Calif default, they also artfully and unartfully dodged the issue of giving any mailing address, wanted to do everything by FAX and their 877 #. Reason was they had no leg to stand on until I paid them something, which had to be instantly or I would be sued, etc.

With the 1999 date, your CA might be on a deadline to file a suit rather than skating on thin ice.

If you can, get lawyer to call them and demand the info you have a right to.

It is simply amazing how much more cooperative these people are about communicating when it's a lawyer on the line. When mine called they "suddenly" "discovered" the SOL had expired.
