hey, i am not an nyu student, have some debt, and have some privacy concerns. i owe $9000 in debt. i have been getting annoying phone calls from a collection agency. My concern is the following: would it be possible for the agency to get information about me from somewhere(like my credit report) and get hold of my work number. I read somewhere that collection agencies can access my credit report. I really don't want any collection agency calling me at work.
