I have a problem with Gulf State also. Are they a collection company? I called them and was told they were not. I don't belive that. Thay sent be a demand for payment in full of a account they said i had with then. In checking futher I found the account was my Heilig Meyer account that is in good standing but has been reported late to the credit aganceys. I belive this Gulf State is owned by OSI portfoli services, 1-800-425-0006 It is my plan to take leagle action and any thing you may be able to tell me about OSI, Gulf State or Heilig Meyers I would be greatfull for.
