I received a letter from an Attorney with 2 different addresses one in Alabama an one in Texas, however, the debt in question was from 96 the time for removal according to experian is 2003, I live in florida, this letter states there may be court action and the law does not require them to wait the 30 day period of disputing the debt to file, the original creditor is Circuit City, and the debt was purchased by S&P Capital Investements, I have yet to recieve the requested validation from them,sent twice no reply just a letter from this Attorney office, I did send them a validation request but what I would like to know, cant I just send them a letter stating that the debt is time barred?
