IF they do try to sue you, you're going to have to do more than send a letter to avoid a judgment. You're going to have to appear in court and cite the SOL as your defense, *then* it will be thrown out. It might be a good idea to dig up proof of when the last payment was made, just in case these scumbags to try suing.

As for the letter, send them a Cease and Desist, Certified, return receipt requested, tell them never to contact you again about the debt as the SOL has expired. They will probably go away at that, but you never know.
