You should be able to reaffirm the house and car if you have equity below what your state exempts in bk proceeding. But, you must be current or be able to get current in a hurry.

The thing about bk is, just owing a lot of money isn't the only variable a trustee considers. What about your income. If you have any money left over after paying your bills each month you will probably get forced into a Chapter 13. See a lawyer. Many will give free initial consultations.
