Paid Charge-off..

I have a credit card (joint account with someone else) account showing up on my credit report as a paid charge off. It was paid off back in 1997, but last report was on 6/02 (it's reported every month). I tried disputing as "not mine", but all 3 CRAs came back with verified. Are there any other ways I can try to get this card off my credit report? Also, will the fact that it's a joint account affect my chances? thanks in advance!
