If you will post me your State of residence, and explain in somewhat clearer terms the dates involved as to first delinquency and charge-off,I will be glad to help,if you will e-mail me the lawyer's name, I will send you what information I have, if it is the same lawyer.A "charge-off" is done by an OC,not a CA,so unless this was a cc company or store that went out of business and sold active accounts, your time frame doesn't seem to make much sense.
If you had an account that was reported as delinquent prior to 1998,you will need some kind of proof of when it was charged off. What does your Experian report show as the date of removal?
