We are not homeowners. My husband is Navy enlisted and retiring in one year (can't stay in any longer), with the job future in question. I am a stay home mom. Our two vehicles are total of probably $3-4000 value combined. No real estate. Nothing else we own is of great value... just household furnishings, clothing, basics---at garage sale value I'd say not much. we do have savings bonds in our names and in our kids names.

Does anything happen to savings bonds--ours and the kids? (not much value in them now)
