If you are within the SOL of being sued on those accounts,then you are better off filing ch13,as you will not be able to negotiate a settlement while they can still sue you. If you are beyond the SOL, then there is no point, IMO, of doing anything at all, as any payment you make will not decrease your remaining reporting time,and if you try to make a "settlement" for deletion,the account balance will be resold and pop back up in a few months under another ca's name.
