more like a bank that uses chexsystems....checksystems is a database...like the credit reporting agencies...that accumulates info regarding bounced checks. If you have a negative in their database you will have problems for 5 yrs from the date you were reported. Member banks will not open up a checking account for you if you have a negative mark on chexsystems.
