Both NH & Md have a 3 year SOL for being sued. You were IN the Country at that time, so the opportunity for any legal action has long since passed.
If you have the name, address and telephone # of this CA, you should file a complaint against them for illegal harrassment and threatening with the FTC (on line) ad the State AG's office of whatever State they are located in. In addition, you should file a report with the State AG's office of the State your family is in.This is an illegal scam operation, they have no legal claim, they are operating illegally and they should be reported to the proper authorites.
