I'm going to assume that your mother had some judgments and leind were filed against the house. If that's the case, all you can do is pay those off and get title transferred to your name.

As to those with no lein but just chargeoffs or in collection. A Bit tricky but, I think if they contacted me I'd tell them she is deceased and see if they push for payment.

BTW, is there a mortgage against the home?
