Equifax sold Certegy its check department. Really they are same company. I am getting ready to sue them tell the cows come home. I paid a 42.00 check with a money order back in june of 2001. it was written in 1997. I had no idea. They have not updated it and say they have no record of payment. I faxed them a certified copy of money order from USPS. still nothing. Yesterday I filed AG and FTC complaints. I am sending an intent to sue today.
