Actually my debt is still with the credit card company & is close to charge off (over 5 mos past due) I have been making payments (over the phone)for the last 5 months just to prevent the account from charging off. I want to offer a settlement, & figured if I know what the collection agency will charge the credit card company, I would have a better idea of what to offer. Also if the credit card company won't change the entry on my report what incentive do I have to settle with them since they would presumably show a charge off anyway
