What can they do ?? They can foreclose, sell it and then ALL of them will stick you with deficiency judgments !! Any remaining balances on unpaid loans once secured by the house would become UNsecured debt and they'll send you to collections and eventually sue you. I had a 1st and 2nd on my house, the 1st foreclosed, the 2nd is now with a collection agency and its only a matter of time before they sue me for a LOT of money. I was laid off on 2/1/02.. and even with a job in this economy I have no hope of paying them that much money. So.. Ch 7 bankruptcy is in my near future. Soon as the summons hits, the BK will be filed. Its my only way out.
