HELP WITH AUTHORIZED USER ACCOUNTS

Hello,
I hope I can find some answers here. I had trouble getting financing for a new car loan-first one bought in over ten years, and discovered that my ex had obtained over ten cc's with me listed as an authorized user. She had defaulted on ALL of them over the last two years. After pulling my cr's I discovered all of her cards are listed on my reports as charge offs, and me listed as authorized user. I never even new she had these cards. My credit was perfect up to this point. I have over 23 accounts listed on my report as never being late over a 20 year period. most of these accounts are paid to a 0 balance. my fico, which I assumed would be perfect is rated at 671. My questions are as follows: Is there anyway to remove these authorized user designations? Should I close my accounts showing 0 balances, but are payed as agreed?
I am sick about this whole situation. Any help is greatly appreciated.
