Any advice????

I am in Tennessee. A CA has taken action against me. A summons was taken to my mothers house(i do not live there) & the server was told by my sister that i didn't live there. He asked her if she was over 18 & she said NO(she is only 17). He told her he didn't know if he was supossed to or not but since she was my sister he gave the summons to her! Was that legal?
Secondly, the summons was signed by the court clerk & there is a docket number at the top. I have no idea who the CA is that is sueing me (i've never heard of them or recived anything from them) & it does list their attorney & his addy,phone no on the papers. It has a court date & says it's a suit on a sworn account. My q is what do i do now. I have contacted noone so far(my sis was served like 3 days ago). I would like to seetle the account without going to court because i'm a nurse & I work long hrs & the place i work is short staffed. But i have no idea who the OC is. Any response would be appreciated.
