HELP! Going to court. Has SOL expired? Received Warrant -In-Debt

Hi group-

Need help.

I received a Warrant - In - Debt summons to appear in court next Friday in VA.

CA is Wolpoff and Abramson representing Platinum Financial Services, assignee of Fourscore Resource Capital, assignee of OC Citibank.

The amount claimed owed is $1328 plus 9% interest from date of judgement.

Here's my question:

According to Experian and Equifax, my DOLA on the OC (Citibank) account was 08/96.

SO (finally! :)) ... here's my question:

Has the SOL in VA expired on this debt? If so, what do I tell the judge on Friday? What is my defense? Can the assignee collect on this account, even though my DOLA has passed?

This board is incredible and I look forward to your replies. I really need help with this.
